How We Work
Every film and video production is unique and different, but there is usually a similar workflow in each assignment.
The client gives us:
The Goal: Increase sales and market share.
And we take it from there.
The Solution: Creative, persuasive commercials and promotional video productions.
The Approach: Use appropriate locations, points of view, characters, actions, dialogue, music, effects and timing.
The Bright Idea: Creatively dream up the theme and sequence that holds attention, enhances the message and creates emotional impact upon the audience, all within budget.
The Storyboard: We build computer "storyboard" screens that we fill with rough pictures and scripts. The storyboard illustrates the sequence of action, characters, sounds and dialogues.
The Production: In any location, in any time frame, we do the "shoot." The job is to assemble the brightest talents in Hollywood and Los Angeles. We bring in gaffers, grips, props specialists, wardrobe experts, camera crews, directors, actors and extras. Whatever it takes to produce the video, audio and effects, we get the job done on time, on budget. We might need only a small crew of three or four but for bigger projects, we might need a dozen experts. We design the production to fit the budget.
The Post-Production: Next the raw digital video files go under the Editor's surgical knife to connect the many separate scenes into a coherent, blended sequence. The Editor adds the background music, voice-over audio, and the merging effects that make the final polished, sizzling, sparkling product.
The Media Production: The final product is burned into CD-ROMs, DVDs, or videotape. The required number of copies goes to the client, to perhaps several different people and locations.
The Result: A marketing and sales campaign tool that effectively increases sales and market share.
Example: Princess Cruises
Our longtime client, Princess Cruises turned to our team for a historic documentary of the final cruise of the Pacific Princess, the floating star of the Love Boat TV hit series. With original TV Captain Gavin McLeod on hand, we captured the historic end of the romantic Love Boat era. By blending film and video production techniques, we combined live interviews with nostalgic film clips to create an enduring recording of the Pacific Princess' sail into her sunset.
But the Love Boat legacy lives on with her replacement, the brand new, thoroughly modern Pacific Princess! Our seagoing pros flew "down under" to video her maiden voyage in Sydney. Their target was a Welcome Aboard presentation to acquaint passengers with the many fine attractions, activities and services aboard this new cruise ship. Each location had its own lighting and photographic challenges, but our intrepid crew of sea dogs pulled off an excellent digital video production.
We repeated the process on a larger scale on the big, new Star Princess on the Mexican Riviera. Our experienced crew quickly covered the long list of specialty restaurants, artwork collections, coffee nooks, spas, training seminars, art classes, ballrooms and many other locations on the Star Princess.
